These are some of the more outstanding questions we get here at USA Wrestling Camps and our answers to them.
Q: Is this USA
Wrestling Camp mostly
conditioning like the other camps?
A: [No, not in the case of the first technique camps, while we are
attending the Iowa State camps we don't have control but upon return
we work mostly the technique. We can upon request supply more
conditioning if you need it and that is your personal goals.]
Q: [Do you cover the Granby System of
wrestling?]
A: [Yes! Here at USA Wrestling Camp we see the value
in that system and have adapted many new secrets to show you using
our unique "Body Geometry" methods.]
Q: [Do you do other sports while we are
there?]
A: [Yes! While we don't coach other sports we do play them for
recreational purposes and just to have some fun. Seeing
wrestlers playing basketball on our indoor court is always a treat
here at USA Wrestling Camp.]
Q: [Do you offer video service as well?]
A: [Yes! We do videos of training and we offer those for
purchase at the end of camp in DVD format. In addition, we
offer coaching tips one on one videos for you to take home to review
with your coaches /parents.]
Q: [Are you in a major city?]
A: [No! You will enjoy the safety and comfort of being in a
small town in the mid west. We have the advantage of clean air
and lots of room to work and play. We are also only 52 miles
from the Omaha Airport so it is not a long trip from the airport to
our facility .]
Q: [Will I be stuck in a hotel room?]
A: [NO! USA Wrestling Camp does all your housing
right on site. You will make life long friends here and we want you
to have the chance to bond with other young men. We are of an
"old school" facility as well as philosophy!]
Q: [What do I need to bring?]
A: [At USA Wrestling Camp we provide all you need but your
bedding and personal clothing. Most campers bring an air mattress,
sleeping bag and pillow for bedding. See our list of other
